What To Expect

Chef Wong once said, “My friends thought I was nuts opening a restaurant in Hawaii on the 3rd floor of an office building with no parking and no ocean view.” You’d probably think he’s crazy too.

After all, this is Hawaii! Still, consider now that since 1995, Wong has grown his little eatery into one of the most respected restaurants in Hawaii.

It’s the easy to see that he must be doing something special. It is for this reason that the restaurant has copped several awards including the Best Oahu Restaurant Award and the Best Tasting Menu, Gold Award.
Extensive Menu

At Alan Wong’s, words such as “exceptionally prepared dishes”and “brilliant flavors” are thrown around quite often.

It’s for good reason. In addition to the extensive list of top-notch wines are several tasty dishes created by a master chef. Let’s see what is available:

These are sure to create that soothing taste that you expect from delicious deserts.

It’s Open for Events!

As mentioned, there is no beautiful view or ample parking here. Still, the restaurant is great for certain intimate events as the staff work like busy little bees in ensuring that your events goes as planned.  It’s always great to be served by dedicated staff versed in every culinary nuance.

A few points to note surround preparing for a visit here. Firstly, the restaurant is almost always fully booked. As such, it’s important to plan ahead and make reservations as necessary.

That being said however, It really doesn’t make much sense to arrive too early (arriving 8:00 for an 8:30 reservation is too early) as guest often occupy their seats as longs as they can. Added to that is the fact that space tends to be an issue. Just so you understand, you’ll want to be careful with the volume and topic of your conversation since the adjacent table may very well hear every word. Yes, like real estate in Honolulu, space is a premium item at Alan Wong’s.
